Turkey and Saudi Arabia Plan Cross-Border Railway to Bypass Hormuz Strait Within 3-4 Years

According to Turkish Transport and Infrastructure Minister Ulu Arlı, on June 14, Turkey and Saudi Arabia plan to build a railway connecting both countries with Jordan, Syria, and extending to Europe within 3 to 4 years. The infrastructure is intended to alleviate transportation challenges caused by potential disruptions to shipping through the Strait of Hormuz.
