According to Qatar’s Defense Ministry statement, a UAE-flagged commercial cargo ship was attacked by drones in Qatari territorial waters on the morning of May 10. The vessel, which departed from Abu Dhabi, caught fire following the strike, though the fire was limited in scale and caused no casualties. The fire was subsequently brought under control, and the cargo ship continued its voyage to Doha’s Mesaieed Port. Qatar’s Defense Ministry said relevant authorities have taken necessary measures and coordinated with concerned parties.
