U.S.-Iran Framework Agreement Plans $300 Billion Private Investment Fund on June 17

According to Reuters, on June 17, the U.S.-Iran framework agreement includes a plan to establish a $300 billion private investment fund to drive investment in Iran. The fund is a private investment vehicle that does not involve government capital and will commence operations only after the final agreement is signed. More than half of the fund's capital commitments have been pledged by companies from the U.S., Gulf Arab states, Asia, South America, and Africa.
