U.S.-Iran Talks to Focus on Nuclear Issue and Israel-Lebanon Situation on June 20

According to Axios and CBS, U.S.-Iran talks to be held in Switzerland on June 20 will address Iran's nuclear program and the Israel-Lebanon conflict. The U.S. aims to secure Iranian permission for UN nuclear inspectors to access previously bombed nuclear facilities. In exchange, the U.S. will allow Iran to access part of its frozen assets to purchase humanitarian goods.

The first round of negotiations will also include an emergency session on a potential Hezbollah-Israel ceasefire, according to a participating diplomat cited by CBS.
