U.S. Treasury Targets 134 Crypto Addresses Linked to ISIS-K on July 2

According to the U.S. Treasury's Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), on July 2, 134 cryptocurrency wallet addresses tied to ISIS-Khorasan (ISIS-K) were added to sanctions entry, including 131 Tron addresses and three Monero addresses. The sanctioned Tron wallets received over $1.4 million since 2023 and sent out more than $880,000, according to blockchain analytics firm Chainalysis. Stablecoin issuer Tether (USDT) subsequently froze balances on all 131 Tron addresses following the designation.
