According to a U.S. Central Command spokesperson, the media's prior report inaccurately described a U.S. Navy escort of a Greek supertanker carrying 2 million barrels of crude oil as a new phase of the operation. The media outlet clarified that the coordination between the U.S. and the commercial vessel was not a restart of the plan, contrary to its earlier reporting.
