WeRide Selected as Only Autonomous Driving Firm in China's Top 10 AI International Cooperation Cases on July 17

According to China's National Development and Reform Commission, autonomous driving company WeRide (WRD.US, 00800) was selected as one of the top 10 AI technology and product international cooperation cases in the 2026 'China's Wisdom, Benefiting the World' case collection, announced at the 2026 World Artificial Intelligence Conference in Shanghai on July 17. WeRide was the only autonomous driving enterprise among the ten selected cases.

WeRide's robotaxi service operates in pure driverless mode across Abu Dhabi and Dubai, with coverage spanning approximately 70% of Abu Dhabi's core areas. The company has deployed its autonomous driving products in 12 countries and over 40 cities worldwide, holds autonomous driving licenses in eight countries, and maintains a global L4 vehicle fleet exceeding 3,000 units.
