China Opposes U.S. Lawsuit Against Cuban Leader, Calls for End to Sanctions on May 21

According to Jin10 Data, China's Foreign Ministry spokesperson Guo Jiakun on May 21 opposed the U.S. lawsuit against Cuban revolutionary leader Raul Castro. Guo stated that China resolutely opposes unilateral sanctions lacking international legal basis and unauthorized by the UN Security Council, as well as the abuse of judicial tools to exert pressure on Cuba. China called on the United States to stop using sanctions and judicial measures against Cuba and cease military threats.

The spokesperson reaffirmed China's firm support for Cuba's sovereignty and national dignity, opposing external interference.
