China's Supreme Court Plans to Study Virtual Currency Adjudication Rules and Financial Regulations

According to the State Council Information Office, China's Supreme Court announced plans to deepen research into virtual currency and cross-border finance case adjudication rules, with officials stating the court will soon develop civil compensation judicial interpretations on insider trading and market manipulation to protect capital market stability and safeguard retail investor rights.

The court will also research and formulate normative documents on artificial intelligence and data property rights protection for digital economy sectors, and strengthen bankruptcy proceedings to optimize market resource allocation.
