German Government Bond Yields Fall Following ECB Rate Hike; 10-Year Falls 3.6 Basis Points

Following the European Central Bank's rate hike announcement on June 12, German government bond yields declined across the curve. The 10-year yield fell 3.6 basis points to 2.995%, while the 2-year yield dropped 6.2 basis points to 2.617%. The 30-year yield declined 1.5 basis points to 3.549%. Prior to the ECB announcement, the 10-year yield had risen to 3.091% but subsequently fell to as low as 2.964% during early European trading on Friday.
