According to Cointelegraph, on July 1, Massachusetts Attorney General filed an amended complaint against prediction market platform Kalshi, adding allegations that Kalshi targeted users under 21 through social media and university campus marketing without effective age-verification safeguards. Kalshi allows users 18 and older to create accounts and place wagers on sports events.

The complaint, approved by the court, builds on initial charges filed in September 2025 alleging Kalshi's sports betting operations violate Massachusetts law.
