Pakistan's PVARA Releases Draft Virtual Asset Services Regulation, Opens Public Consultation Through July 2

According to Pakistan's Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority (PVARA), the regulator released a draft of the 2026 Virtual Asset Services Regulation on June 11, inviting public feedback until July 2. The draft and accompanying guidance cover VASP licensing, governance, market conduct standards, cybersecurity, AML/CFT compliance, and customer asset protection, with specialized manuals for ten license categories including exchanges, custody, brokers, derivatives, and mining services.
