According to analyst Serenity on June 28, Schaeffler AG is a model example for automotive suppliers entering the humanoid robot sector. The company, valued at approximately €7.5 billion, has partnered with about 45 humanoid robot enterprises and supplies bearings, gearboxes, sensors, actuators, and power electronics—theoretically accounting for roughly 50% of humanoid robot BOM costs. Schaeffler expects to generate revenue in the hundreds of millions of euros by 2030.
