S&P 500 CME Positioning: Fund Managers Add 3,319 Contracts, Speculators Up 64,644 in Week Ended June 16

According to the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), during the week ended June 16, equity fund managers increased their net long positions in CME S&P 500 index futures by 3,319 contracts to 983,431 contracts. Concurrently, equity fund speculators boosted their net short positions by 64,644 contracts to 501,690 contracts.
