Tesla Limits Employee AI Tool Spending to $200 Per Week Starting July 6

According to CCTV Finance, Tesla announced on July 5 that starting July 6, it will limit employee AI tool spending to $200 per week, according to an internal memo. Expenses exceeding this amount require manager approval. The company exempted its own Grok model, developed by Elon Musk's xAI, from the spending cap. The policy aligns with similar cost-cutting measures adopted by multiple U.S. tech companies.
