U.S. Adds Chinese Companies to Military Enterprise List on June 13

According to China's Ministry of Commerce on June 13, the U.S. Department of Defense has added some Chinese companies to a 'China Military Companies List.' China's Ministry of Commerce said the move violates prior consensus between the two nations' leaders and severely damages international trade order and global supply chain stability. The Ministry urged the U.S. to immediately withdraw the measures and called for fair, just, and non-discriminatory treatment of Chinese enterprises. The statement warned that failure to comply will result in resolute countermeasures by China.
