China's Market Regulator Introduces Systematic Plan to Combat Internet Advertising Violations on June 16

According to China's State Administration for Market Regulation (SAMR), on June 16, the authority issued a notice on deepening internet advertising ecosystem governance. The initiative introduces the innovative concept of "internet advertising ecosystem governance" and systematically deploys five key treatment areas: establishing a sound regulatory system, strengthening platform accountability, enhancing oversight of key sectors, upgrading monitoring technology and enforcement capabilities, and strengthening value-oriented guidance.
