According to India’s Foreign Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, on Thursday, safe and unobstructed maritime shipping through international waters, including the Strait of Hormuz and the Red Sea, is critical for global economic well-being. Jaishankar also highlighted the need to address unilateral coercive measures and sanctions that contradict international law and the UN Charter.
